15 SUMMER-TO-FALL DRESSES

Fall is just around the corner and my shopping cart is already starting to reflect its arrival. Most notably in my dress choices (But I’m not shopping sweaters yet!! I need at least 2 more weeks until I can start truly shopping for sweaters! ;)) I’ve been looking for dresses that are perfect for now and will transition with the changing season.

Whether you have a wedding, last-minute vacay (this chick!!), or girls’ night out, I thought I’d share some of my favorite options for summer-to-fall dresses.

Tip: Consider your shoe choice when shopping for transitional pieces! The question I ask myself when shopping for summer-to-fall pieces is “Will this outfit look good with strappy heels or boots? Both?! Bingo.”

Take the dress I’m wearing in the photo for example. Perfect to wear now because of the material (100% cotton), but picture it with heeled boots and an ivory hat for fall. So good.

While I am obsessed with the flattering wrap-style fit of this dress, what made me actually add to cart was the print! I love that it’s a floral print, without being “over-the-top florals in your face”. It’s somehow the perfect balance of summer and fall florals! In terms of sizing, I would say size down. I’m wearing a size XXS.
