I hope everyone is still breathing from Black Friday/Cyber Monday. I did purchase some much-needed home decor, but neglected to purchase one gift! Not ONE. So all the gift guides are in this blog’s near future! Ha.
Let’s talk Holiday Looks! What’s your go-to for holiday parties and events? All black with a red lip?? I won’t knock you for that, but I think it’s time to try something new! From leopard jackets to sequin dresses, here are 3 not-so-basic ideas to step up your look this holiday season.
The Sequin Dress.
The sequin dress is THE trend this year. More specifically, the robe wrap dress. Pair it with clear heels and allow the dress to be the main focal point (and your legs will look extra long!). You will see this style of dress everywhere, and it will be sold out. Ha! This one sold out as soon as it went live! Sign up for restocks HERE because this is the best sequin dress you will ever find! Grab similar clear heels from Ruthie Grace here.
Blush Leopard Fur.
Blush Leopard Coat | Similar Black Heels | Similar Denim
Blush Leopard Fur, you guys. Blush Leopard Fur. This faux fur coat is better than all the others because of the cropped length. While the nature of fur jackets makes them the absolute coziest + chic piece you will ever own, they can swallow you if they are too long. The slightly cropped length of this one will flatter your frame and dress up your all-black outfit in one mintue flat! Oh, and the fur pockets will keep your hands so warm!
Cable Knit Sweater.
Cable Knit Sweater | Similar Black Heels | Similar Denim
A Cable Knit Sweater is the classic piece that will never go out of style, but for some reason, I have always had trouble finding one I like because the material never works for me. It’s either too tight, too itchy, or too stiff. This one is the opposite of all of those things! It is the absolute softest sweater and not to mention, the stretchiest cable knit you will ever find. Style it with blue denim, booties, and pearl earrings for a classic look OR heels and cropped flares for a little bit of an edge 😉
All of these looks were created with pieces from Ruthie Grace and you can see the rest of their holiday collection here! Don’t you think THIS sweater looks so comfy?!
This post was created in a collaboration with Ruthie Grace Boutique. All opinions are my own!
All my love,
Alex
