Ever since I can remember my mom has told me to not buy something just because it is affordable. I can literally hear her in my head: “it doesn’t matter how great the price is, because if you don’t love it you’re just wasting your money, so you’re better off just buying what you really want!” Now was she likely saying this to me as a child to justify to herself why she was buying that designer purse? Probably. But there’s a lesson here!

Today I am sharing 5 recent beauty finds that are quality products, and just happen to be affordable. Trust me, I know the struggle of finding a budget-friendly product that leads to the question of “But does it even work?” So to be clear, I am not sharing these products today because they are affordable, but because they are GOOD! So let’s dive in.

Prep + Brighten Rose Oil– This is the best face oil I have ever used! I like to apply a facial oil before I jade roll, after I moisturize, as the last step in my skincare routine at night. This one is blended with Vitamin C and literally feels weightless when you apply it. On days when the weather is really cold and dry, I will apply it under my foundation and it keeps my makeup from getting that that “dry look”, while giving the prettiest glow! Oh, and it smells like a garden of roses. The best!

2-In-1 Foundation– Let’s be honest, I need another foundation like I need a hole in my head. However, this one has quickly become my “I only slept for 4 hours and I’m tired” foundation. I was so intrigued to try this one as it doubles as a concealer. It is very full coverage and the formula is thick and creamy. One coat all over and my redness is diminished and no-sleep undereye rings are minimized.

Conceal + Perfect Longwear Concealer– A concealer that actually works. This one reminds me of Shape Tape, except it glides onto the skin and blends like a dream. It is full coverage and feels weightless. If I had to keep only one concealer in my makeup bag, it would be this one.

‘Luminoso’ Baked Blush– This is the cult favorite Milani product so I had to try it! It did not disappoint because it is the MOST pigmented blush I have ever found. If you love Nars Orgasm you will LOVE this blush in the color ‘Luminoso’. Same consistency, same “looks good on everyone” shade, but I actually think I like this one a bit more. A little goes a long way with this one so blend, blend, blend.

Illuminating Transparent Face Powder– This finishing powder is perfect for this time of year! My skin tends to be on the dry side so I don’t want anything too heavy or else my foundation is left feeling cakey. This one is neither matte nor shimmery, just a subtle glow. It reminds me of the Hourglass Ambient Powder (which I also swear by) in that it gives you that “lit from within” look. Love it.
