Home Workouts + lululemon Try-On

Hi, friends!! How is everyone? Hangin in there?! I hope everyone is healthy! We’ve all been quarantining and right now we don’t really know when it will end, but I’m holding onto the fact that it will end. It has too! This too shall pass. In the meantime, let’s keep praying.

As we’re all at home, I figured this would be a good time for new lululemon try-on. To be honest, I find myself wearing athleisure most days (especially lately) and lululemon pieces are by far my fave. They hold up longer than anything else and always make me feel my best! I’ll share my sizing for reference below and you can see the full try-on over on my stories.

Align Pant II

TTS, wearing size 2. Everything your buttery-soft legging dreams are made of. The Align pant has become my guilty pleasure because while others may imitate, there is just nothing quite like it! Nothing fits + feels better than this second-skin pant. 

Train to Be Short Sleeve Tee

TTS, wearing size XS. This exact top is available in tie-dye and on sale here! This tee is so soft and designed for working out! It has a mesh in all the right places, making it stretchy AND breathable.

In Movement Tight

TTS, wearing size 2. If I could only pick one pair of leggings it would be these. These leggings are just like the Align, except you can workout in them! They hold up SO well and will last you forever. Exhibit A: I purchased my first pair a few years ago and have washed that same pair ONE MILLION times and you would never know it!

Crop Tank

TTS, Wearing size 2. This works so well with high waisted leggings. It’s made of Pima Cotton with added Lycra, so it will retain its shape!

Define Jacket

Size up for looser fit, Wearing size 4. This is one of the cult favorites from lululemon that’s been around since the beginning. It’s like the “LV Neverfull” of lululemon! As they come out with new colors each season, I love the fact that the style of the jacket has never changed so it never goes out of style! The jacket I’m wearing in the photo I’ve had for 5+ years and still wear it! I have both the black and pink and I feel like they are just as on-trend now as they were 5 years ago.

Free To Be Bra Wild

Wearing size 6, runs small. Size up if in between! I’ve tried a 3 or 4 lululemon sports bras and this one is my favorite. This style is comfy enough that I can wear it all day but still provides enough support that I can wear it to run + workout

Align Crop

TTS, wearing size 2. This is the time of the year when I love to wear these! Spring is weird in Texas because it either pouring down rain or it bright + sunny! Ha, every day is a surprise but I find the align crop to work well for this. On days when I don’t feel like wearing shorts, I can wear these around the house, take Ava for a walk, run errands, and never get hot in it!

Now let’s talk workouts!

One week into quarantine and I found myself in quite the workout rut. And by rut, I mean ZERO motivation to get my rear end off the couch. Ha! So I started searching for a good online workout routine that I could follow at home. The keyword being routine because I knew I needed a full day-to-day routine to keep me motivated and on track.

I dabbled with a few apps and youtube videos but nothing caught my interest. So after hearing what felt like EVERYONE on Instagram rave about FWTFL (Faster Way to Fat Loss), I decided to give it a try! FWTFL is a 6-week online program, where you get your own personal coach that keeps you in check! It’s been SO FUN you guys!!

My coach is Kristen Mills, and she’s amazing. She guides you through EVERYTHING so there’s no planning. So in the morning all I do is open up the program on their app and there is a 30-minute LIVE workout, which I can catch via replay anytime I want. This program also comes with a meal plan that is SO DIFFERENT than any other typical meal plan. For me, this part has been super easy because this is how I eat for the most part anyway. Even though I signed up for the program for the workouts, I’ve learned that the meal plan is the most important part of the program (and Kristen WILL make sure you’re following it;))
