What do you wear on a day-to-day basis? For me it’s a dress and I’m not kidding! Now that we’re in June, (and I live in the state of Texas) I can’t even THINK about wearing leggings without breaking a sweat. I’m most comfortable in a loose dress (or what my mom would call a “house dress” lol).

Speaking of my mom, she actually inspires my style so much! She gives the best style advice and seriously has the best life-hacks. I feel like I could write an entire post on “Trudy’s lifestyle tips” haha! but here’s one: Get dressed everyday.

Think of a house dress like an easy outfit you can wear round the house, but allows you to not feel lazy all day. A dress you wear while you answer e-mails or clean the house, but if you step outside to talk to a neighbor, you still feel dressed.

In this paragraph, I’ve long been a dress person. I love how light and breezy (and forgiving) the perfect dress can be.
