My Magic Carpet Review + Discount Code

I’ve been looking for a rug for our bathroom since the day we moved in. I think I’ve purchased and returned 9 different styles and I’m not kidding. I even had one of those “a-ha!” moments where I bought a beautiful vintage rug off of Etsy, but it was too small and wasn’t practical.

Well, I finally found THE ONE and I am so in love!

Enter the White Shag Rug from My Magic Carpet. Not only is it the perfect size for our space, but it’s also washable (!!!) which is KEY with a bathroom rug. And did it ever brighten up the place! Not only does this rug look great, but it’s also really comfortable to walk on (and sit on lol)

I also ordered this Turquoise runner rug for our kitchen – (I’ll have photos up of our runner next week!)

Sharing a full review with photos and how I styled our My Magic Carpet rug below!

Rug Features

The feature I like most about the My Magic Carpet rug (besides it being washable) is that it stays in place! My last rug in this space would always move around- even with a rug pad. This rug has little nonslip backing, which allows it to grip tile or hardwood and stay in place.

The price point of My Magic Carpet takes the cake for me. I was honestly shocked at how affordable it was! Rugs can be so expensive (especially when they’re washable!) but this is hands down the most affordable option I’ve found.

Rug Features We Love:

  • Price point (the most affordable washable rug I’ve found)
  • Machine Washable and Dryable
  • Kid and pet-friendly
  • Stain-resistant
  • Non-slip and waterproof backing
  • Indoor and outdoor use
  • Stays in place

Rug Styles, Sizing, and Pricing

My Magic Carpet offers a variety of rug sizes and styles: runners, round rugs, small rugs, large rugs, etc. I was comparing multiple washable rug brands online, and these are definitely the most affordable! I love the variety of prints and patterns and these will not break the bank! You can buy online directly from My Magic Carpet’s website or from retailers like Bed Bath and Beyond, Kohl’s or Amazon.

Where to put your rug?

We have our rug in the kitchen and master bathroom. But, these rugs can be placed anywhere in your home – indoors or outdoors! I’d love to get one for our backyard patio this summer. We spend so much time outdoors, I think it would be perfect!

Any other high-traffic area in your home would be great too! Your entryway, living room, laundry room, dining room – you really can’t go wrong!

How does the rug hold up to spills?

You guys! I swear this rug is magic. It’s actually crazy to me that you can spill almost ANYTHING on these rugs and the stain completely comes out in the wash. It’s a game-changer if you have little kids or pets in your home. We are constantly cleaning up spills from Ava or the dog, so having a rug that can withstand coffee, muddy paws, and red wine, is such a stress reliever.

If someone does spill, all you have to do is spot treat and then wash it! The stain will come out in the wash.
