Being outside is our favorite place to spend our free time so we’ve been working on turning our backyard patio into an outdoor living space we can enjoy!

Last year when we were house shopping our one deal breaker was the backyard patio! I think that’s because the house Andrew and I lived in when we were first married literally had NO backyard and we would just sit there and DREAM about what it would be like to have an outdoor patio. It seems so minor, but I’m honestly just so glad we found a home with a backyard!

While it’s still all coming together, I thought I could share our patio design plan with you! My hope is to create a space that is comfortable, peaceful, and reflects my personal style. Ideally, I want this space to be like an extension of our indoor living area with a natural “flow” that draws you outside. 🙂
