Hii! I am ecstatic to be writing this post! Finally!! Starting a blog has been on my to-do list for over two years now.. so here we go!

A little bit about me and One Love..

My name is Alex, and I am all about spending time with my husband, feel-good fashion, Jesus, and finding joy in the pretty things. Online shopping is my love language, pink is my neutral, candles are my therapy, and champagne is my drink (when I’m not pregnant, 5 months to go!).

The term “One Love” has always held a special place in my heart. My family is from Jamaica so I grew up with the song “One Love” by Bob Marley always playing around our house and ALWAYS playing at any party or celebration! One Love refers to the universal love and respect expressed by all people for all people, regardless of where they come from. The idea of One Love just makes me feel so happy.. 🙂 When my husband and I got married we used the hashtag #TwoStoutsOneLove, as having One Love is how we think of our marriage. And now that we are in expecting to have our first daughter arrive in February we keep saying that we will be #ThreeStoutsOneLove! Which we are so excited for, especially considering the first trimester is over (PRAISE!)! 

My hope for this blog is to share the little things I enjoy about life, such as the light-hearted joy of a great online sale, and in turn encourage you to enjoy the little things that make you happy. I hope you feel encouraged to take the time (yes, it takes time) to love yourself (aka #treatyoself ;)), as I know this is when we can best love others around us!
