Has everyone already put up their Christmas tree?! Usually, I put up my tree November 1 like a psycho but this year my brain just can’t get there! I’ve been so focused on our “normal” home decor since we’ve moved into the new house, so I’m like “no no no I can’t put up Christmas decorations because I don’t even have my normal decorations in place yet!” Ha, but we did go shopping for a tree this past weekend and I can’t seem to find the right one. I want something like THIS.
Anyway, I shared this dress in a Ruthie Grace try-on last week but that was not enough! This dress deserves its own blog post. Why? From the second I put on this dress I was reminded why I started blogging. Pieces like this are what I NEED to share with you.
We all have those days (or weeks) where you feel like you’ve lost your groove and can’t seem to get it back. While it’s all pretty much mental, you’d be surprised what a great outfit could do for your self-esteem. There is a feeling of inspiration and power that comes when you’re feeling your best, and this dress is just that outfit!
This dress is NOT something you wear if you want to go unnoticed. No, no, it is far too fun for that. This is what you wear if you’re looking to be the happiest person in the room! Better yet, if you need an instant pick me up, throw on this dress and you will feel so good, I promise! The tiered skirt gives this dress the best movement, while the cinched waist holds it all in place. Oh, and the bell sleeves are so fun too, no?!
You can find this exact dress HERE from Ruthie Grace. (Also HERE in my favorite print!) This print is almost sold out, but it was recently released in a few new prints for the holidays. Tell me you are not DYING over this one for NYE!! Or is it too soon to talk about 2020?
All my love,
Alex
