I cant believe I am just getting around to sharing these photos! These pictures were taken when I was 10 weeks pregnant and they mean THE WORLD to me.  A baby announcement photo session is something that I would recommend to anyone who just found out that they are expecting! For Andrew and I, these photos represent such an exciting time where we had just found out that we were pregnant but it was such a special time because only a few people knew at this point. I loved taking these photos because it somehow made the entire pregnancy more exciting and even more real!

A session like this was also practical for us because we used these pictures to send out in the mail to family and friends as a pregnancy announcement. I also had a few printed out and framed to put in the nursery and throughout our home. A baby announcement photo session would also work great for Christmas card photos!

We also took a few pictures without the “baby” sign that I had framed and put in our bedroom! It was a fun way to update some of the pictures of us in our home!

I have to talk quickly about this dress. First of all its $28, so #winning. Although because of the crochet detailing it looks much more expensive IMO! I also liked the fact that the dress is double-lined so I didn’t have to worry about it being see-though which is always a struggle with white dresses. I find this style dress to be flattering SO comfortable that I have worn it legitimately 20 times since this photo session. Its just one of those pieces that I always find myself grabbing because I feel good in it, ya know?

I actually just ordered it in two other colors that I think are perfect colors for the fall! I cant wait to style it with booties, a long necklace, and a floppy hat. 🙂
